The following site is to cover our favorite NHL team, the Atlanta Thrashers, and our association with the team.  In 2005 Allan received an Atlanta Thrashers flag in Iraq and flew it around the base and had members of the units sign it.  Upon his return Allan returned the signed flag to the Thrashers organization.  The Thrashers honored Allan with a center ice ceremony on March 18th 2006 and permanently displayed the flag in Phillips Arena on November 10th 2007.   Since that time the Thrashers and the Marines have enjoyed a close relationship with Thrashers challenging the Marines to paintball and supporting the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program..  In April the Stanley Cup was touring NHL cities and the Thrashers brought the Cup to NAS Atlanta and Allan was able to fly and pose with the cup.  Check out the Thrasher Picture page for some photos of various events and follow the link below to the Atlanta Thrashers Website.
